Page Kirk welcomes two new placement students

The team are proud to welcome two new placement students to the Page Kirk family.

Ellie White is currently studying Mathematics at the University of Bath and has relocated to Nottingham to take an accounting placement at the firm, giving her practical industry experience to help her on her way to her dream career in accounting. The team will be on hand to support her in learning and implementing industry standard accounting practices, preparing her for a successful career.

Ellie said “I have always had a love for numbers, so I'm looking forward to working alongside businesses to improve their financial performance. I am also excited to explore a new city and meet new people, having relocated all the way from Bath. I have already had a warm welcome and I am certain that the team will continue to support me in gaining practical accounting knowledge that will help me in my career.”

Connor Limrick is currently studying Economics at Loughborough University, where he has joined the team for his placement year. Connor will start off by working alongside our tax department, where they will be helping him to learn the latest tax practices and industry insights. He will then move to our audit department to develop his knowledge both theoretically and practically, studying for a CFAB qualification and working with our diverse range of clients.

Connor said: “I am thrilled to be working alongside a team of knowledgeable people and I am looking forward to picking their brains to develop my taxation and auditing skills. With such a range of clients and service offerings, I believe that working at the firm will help me to find a specialism to go into after my degree. Moving to a new city can be scary but the team have already made me feel incredibly welcome.”
