What information will we need?

  • Your new company name
  • Your business’ activity
  • What address you want to use as the company’s registered office address
  • Who the company director(s) and company secretary (not mandatory) will be
  • Who the company shareholders will be

We will check that your company name is available, as it can’t be the same as one used by another business.

    You must appoint a company director, but are not required to appoint a company secretary if you don’t want to. However, for companies with one director it is often advisable to appoint a company secretary who will be able to deal with the company’s statutory responsibilities in the event that the sole director cannot, for whatever reason. Once you have provided this information, we will update you as soon as your company is up and running.
