Captain Tom 100 – Team Charity Challenge
Friday 30th April 2021 would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore's 101st birthday. The date also marks the first anniversary of the exceptional 100 laps of his garden that helped to raise £38.9 million for our NHS during the Covid pandemic. AMANDA WILLIS, our Head Receptionist, explains how Page Kirk are going to help mark the occasion.
Since Captain Tom's death on 2nd February, his family have organised an event for everyone to celebrate and honour the dedication and spirit the former soldier brought to the nation during the unsettling events of 2020.

Open to all ages and abilities, the event encourages everyone to take on a challenge based around the number 100. It could be as simple as walking 100 steps or perhaps even a dedication to walking 100 miles or 100 press-ups. It doesn't matter how big the challenge is or how much money is raised, it is simply to honour the remarkable work of Captain Sir Tom Moore around a year ago today.
Our charity challenge
To honour the exceptional legacy of Captain Tom, the team at Page Kirk will be covering 100 miles collectively, through a range of walks, runs, cycles and even swims before 30th April, giving us 15 days to reach the 100-mile target. Whilst completing the challenge, we will be raising money for our charity of the year, Emmanuel House, a local organisation that plays a critical role in changing the lives of vulnerable adults across Nottingham.

How you can help
