Amanda Willis, who coordinates our charity efforts, goes through how we have supported them.

Hey there, fabulous readers! Buckle up for another wild ride as we zoom through the highlights of Page Kirk's May charity fundraising. Kings Coronation Celebrations

We kicked off May in regal style with our very own Kings Coronation shindig. We held a dress-down day, encouraging our staff to wear blue, red and white. In the afternoon we had a coronation quiz, testing our knowledge of royal history. It was an enjoyable and educational experience that brought us all together for a worthy cause.

Dog Raffle

Throughout May, we held an exciting dog raffle, featuring an array of toys and treats that would surely delight our four-legged friends. The raffle was a hit among our staff, and Jess Maddams from our accounts department emerged as the lucky winner. Her Labrador, Taylor, was overjoyed with the new toy and hasn't stopped carrying it around since. The dog raffle not only brought smiles to our faces but also contributed to our fundraising efforts for Drone to Home.

Pet Photo Competition

We invited our colleagues to showcase their beloved pets' adorable personalities in our pet photo competition. The response was overwhelming! From cats, fish, hamsters and an array of dogs, including Milo, who stole the hearts of everyone and was crowned the winner. Milo belongs to assistant manager Tom Johnson who won array of treats!

Eurovision Sweepstake

As the Eurovision fever swept across the continent, we couldn't resist joining in on the fun. We organised a Eurovision Sweepstake, inviting our staff to participate in this musical extravaganza. Each team member drew a random country, eagerly anticipating their entry's performance and potential victory. But here's the twist—half of the total funds raised from the sweepstake were allocated to the winner, while the remaining half was dedicated to supporting the invaluable efforts of Drone to Home.

Friday Dress Down Day

As part of our commitment to supporting Drone to Home, we continued our last Friday of the month dress down day. Our team eagerly participated, not only enjoying the relaxed attire but also contributing to the charitable cause. These casual Fridays creates a sense of camaraderie within the office, reminding us of the positive impact we can make when we come together.

Sweet Ending

On the last day of May, we were in for a delightful surprise. Sam's daughter generously donated a homemade dog themed white chocolate cheesecake, which we sold by the slice to our staff. It was a sweet way to conclude the month, with each bite reminding us of the importance of our charity work and the incredible dedication of our team.

About Drone to Home

Drone to Home is an organisation born out of necessity, driven by the desire to reunite missing dogs with their worried owners. The founder, whose drone skills and dedication became widely recognised, initiated the search for missing dogs. As the demand grew, a WhatsApp group was created, attracting numerous volunteers willing to help in the search efforts. Today, Drone to Home has hundreds of dedicated volunteers who assist in ground searches and share vital information on social media.

Moreover, the charity has developed a unique training course to empower drone operators to use thermal drones, enhancing their capabilities in reuniting missing dogs with their families. In a bid to challenge gender disparities in the drone industry, Drone to Home is proud to announce their first female drone operator, who is currently undergoing training. With a strong foundation and an excellent reputation, the future looks promising for Drone to Home as they continue their valuable work in the community.

Phil James, CEO of Drone to Home said –

“Thank you so much to Page Kirk LLP for supporting Drone to Home for the month of May.

Drone to Home search for your beloved pooches when they go missing. We have reunited over 1500 dogs in three years and changed people's lives.

Your kind donations will help support Drone to Home by allowing us to purchase vital equipment like thermal drones and help us provide aftercare to the dogs and families.”
