Jack Moore recognised as one of UK’s top accountants
Page Kirk partner Jack Moore has been named in the prestigious Accountancy Age 35 under 35 rankings for 2022, officially recognising him as one of the top accountancy professionals in the UK.
Jack started in a small independent firm of Chartered Accountants straight out of sixth form. After eight years, he moved to a Big Four firm, before realising he was better suited to working as part of a more modestly-sized independent firm, where he could make a bigger impact. This brought him to Page Kirk.
He completed his AAT exams in 2012, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014 and joined the team here in 2018 – initially as an assistant manager, but quickly worked his way up to manager, a year before he was made partner in April 2021 at the age of 29.
Since his appointment, he has been able to attract a new type of client – typically entrepreneurial millennials in their 20s and 30s, who are now running their own businesses. They want somebody with a similar mindset to them, who they can trust and see as an extension of their own business. This demographic of business owner is very tech-aware and wants access to on-tap financial information, which is always live and up to date. Jack is able to work with them to provide just that. He recognises opportunity for new business, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and inspiring the team at Page Kirk to grow and improve.
Jack commented:
“The success of this modern, tech-focused, more hands-on 'advisory' service I provide for my clients has only been made possible by my team genuinely buying into the concept themselves, and by learning to execute this new way of working with ever-increasing efficiency.
“It has been a rollercoaster in terms of team structure, workloads and workflows. This type of service being an ever-evolving concept means that the team needs to be receptive to regularly changing ways of working as the service evolves. But they have done a truly amazing job so far and I very much look forward to the future, working alongside them.”
Internally, Jack has driven initiatives such as employee recognition through our PK Champion awards and has been an advocate for more open communication by instigating regular internal newsletters and just generally being approachable and available for candid conversations.

“I've known about these rankings for years and have kept an eye on the list each year throughout my career, and I had always hoped that one day I would be fortunate enough to be one of the names recognised. The Accountancy Age rankings, whether the Top 50+50 or the 35 Under 35, are well-known within the industry, so it is an absolute honour and a privilege to be acknowledged by such a well-respected organisation, and I am truly humbled to have been selected for this year's list.”
There is still more to come, and Jack has his sights set on the future:
“I want to continue working with our amazing team to constantly develop the services which we're offering, and I want us to be known within the industry for blazing a trail into the modern era of accountancy. Growing the team around me is what makes me tick, and bringing new clients on board will allow us to do that. We are currently 34 staff, and my mid-term goal is to drive our growth so that we are a team of 100 staff, and for us to ultimately make the Accountancy Age Top 50+50 list!”
