New starter joins our Graduate Scheme

Page Kirk are pleased to welcome Matthew Laurenti to the team, who will be joining our three-year ACA Accounting Graduate scheme.
Matthew has recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management at The University of Nottingham and will kickstart his career by working in our Audit and Accounts department. The team will be on hand to support Matthew in learning the industry standard skills and techniques required to excel in the industry.
Mathew commented: 'I am looking forward to working alongside an experienced team where I'll be able to gain practical knowledge and industry insights, which will help me both in my career and exams. I always wanted to be part of a profession that is challenging and demanding but at the same time very rewarding.'

Our ACA Graduate Scheme
Each year we recruit students for our graduate scheme. These trainees take part in both hands-on industry projects and academic study towards the globally recognised Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification. Prescribed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), this qualification provides our trainees with an excellent foundation of knowledge in finance, accountancy, and business.
The scheme is built around four elements:
- 450 days of practical work experience – offering invaluable insights into the realities of a career in chartered accountancy.
- 15 exam modules – covering a broad range of topics including: financial management, law, assurance, and business strategy.
- Professional development – preparing you to successfully handle different situations that you'll encounter throughout your career.
- Ethics and professional scepticism – providing you with the skills to work under scrutiny and be confident you are making the right decisions.
If you're interested in a career in accountancy our graduate scheme applications open in October for 2022 intake. Register your interest here.
