4Louis is a small national charity supporting families affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, and the death of a baby or child. They work with hospitals across the UK, providing memory boxes, equipment, and training to support compassionate care.

After listening to families, 4Louis introduced Privacy Prams, offering a dignified and discreet option for transporting babies from the ward to the mortuary within hospital settings at an incredibly sensitive time.

As a relatively small charity, donations to 4Louis have a direct and meaningful impact on the families they support.

Alzheimer’s Society

Website: www.alzheimers.org.uk

Alzheimer’s Society is a large national charity supporting people living with dementia and their families through advice, services, campaigning, and research funding. Dementia affects thousands of families across the UK and has a profound long-term impact.

British Heart Foundation

Website: www.bhf.org.uk

The British Heart Foundation is a large national charity funding research into heart and circulatory diseases, as well as prevention, treatment, and recovery support.

Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is one of the largest charities in the UK, funding world-leading research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. While survival rates have improved, more work is needed to find cures.

This charity reflects a shared belief that continued large-scale research investment is essential to tackling cancer.

Dove Cottage Day Hospice

Dove Cottage Day Hospice is a small, local charity providing specialist palliative care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Like many hospices, it relies heavily on community fundraising and volunteers.

Hayward House

A local hospice in Nottingham providing compassionate end-of-life care for patients and their families. Its focus is on dignity, comfort, and emotional support at the end of life.

It is supported by Nottingham Hospitals Charity, which helps fund additional nurses, complementary and art therapists, and enhancements to the patient environment, including a garden, family room, quiet room, and counselling rooms.

Like many hospice services, Hayward House relies on charitable support and volunteers to help sustain and enhance the care it provides to the local community.

Headway Nottingham

Lymphoma UK

Website: lymphoma-uk.org

Lymphoma UK is a small national charity and the only UK organisation dedicated solely to lymphoma. They provide expert information, patient support services, and fund targeted research.

As a specialist charity with a relatively small income, support can have a meaningful impact on people affected by this specific blood cancer.

Nottingham Children’s Hospital

Website: www.nottinghamhospitalscharity.org.uk

Nottingham Children’s Hospital is part of a major NHS trust and nationally recognised for its care, but fundraising supports local services and facilities within the hospital.
