James joined Page Kirk in September 2013 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2016 after achieving a first in Accountancy & Finance at Nottingham Trent University. As part of his degree course James spent 12 months with the firm in 2011/12.
During his time James has gained extensive experience within the accounts and audit department specialising in preparing accounts and performing audits for owner managed businesses, limited companies, groups and charities. James also has vast experience performing bookkeeping services for clients within the construction industry dealing with CIS returns, PAYE and VAT issues.
In 2017, after becoming an assistant manager of the accounts and audit department, James went on a three-month secondment to an accountancy firm in Boston in the United States strengthening his knowledge and understanding of multi-national groups and US GAAP accounting standards. In 2020, James became a manager of accounts and audit department.
Out of Office
West Bromwich Albion supporter, even though this can be deemed as torture by many. He can also be found playing football, cricket and watching formula one.
