Maddy Niven

Placement student

Maddy Niven joins us from Nottingham Trent University, where she is currently studying Accounting and Finance. Originally from New Zealand, Maddy has not only excelled academically but has also represented her country in trampolining, showcasing her dedication and discipline.

As a placement student at Page Kirk, Maddy is keen to expand her knowledge in the areas of Tax and Audit. She is excited about the opportunity to apply her university learning in a real-world setting, while developing practical skills that will enhance her career in finance.

Throughout her time with us, Maddy will be working towards her CFAB qualification. Her role begins in the tax department, where she will learn to prepare tax returns and computations, as well as handle accounts for sole traders. In the latter part of the year, she will transition to the audit and accounts department to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting and auditing practices.

Maddy is enthusiastic about the journey ahead and looks forward to making the most of her placement with Page Kirk.
