Ian joined Page Kirk in 2025, following a relocation to Nottingham. He manages a diverse portfolio of clients and offers expert advice on areas including personal tax, property taxation, Capital Gains Tax and rental income. Whether you’re an individual seeking peace of mind or a business looking to reduce unnecessary tax liabilities, Ian brings strategic insight and a practical approach.

Throughout his career, Ian has led tax departments, overseen large client bases, introduced improved processes across offices, and mentored junior colleagues. He is known for his ability to break down complex tax legislation into clear, actionable guidance, helping clients feel confident and in control of their tax position.

Ian’s journey into tax began during the economic downturn of the mid-1980s, when graduate opportunities were limited. Fortunately, he managed to secure a graduate position at a London firm in the tax department and never looked back, drawn by the challenge, the evolving legislation, and most of all, the opportunity to help people. Over the years, he has formed long-lasting relationships with clients, many of whom he now considers lifelong friends.
