Sonja is a Chartered Accountant and Manager in our audit and accounts department. She works with a wide range of clients, including UK subsidiaries of international groups, not-for-profit organisations, and owner-managed businesses, providing audit, financial reporting and statutory accounts support.
After studying English Literature and Mathematics at Newcastle University, Sonja discovered her passion for accountancy, a field where she could combine analytical thinking with clear communication. She joined Page Kirk in 2019 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2023, progressing from a junior role into management.
Alongside meeting compliance requirements, Sonja enjoys helping clients improve their internal processes and build financial confidence. She also supports colleagues and junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging professional development across the team.
In 2023, she took part in an international exchange programme with a CPAmerica firm in the USA, gaining valuable insight into global audit practices. Her thorough, client-focused approach makes her a trusted adviser across sectors.
