James has a wide range of experience across the accounts and audit department. He works closely with limited companies, groups, and charities, helping them meet their reporting obligations, improve financial processes, and stay compliant with regulatory requirements.

 

He has a particular specialism in the not-for-profit sector, where he supports charities with everything from complex accounting standards under the Charities SORP to Charity Commission compliance. James understands the pressures these organisations face and offers practical, tailored support.

 

James joined Page Kirk in 2013 after achieving a First in Accountancy and Finance at Nottingham Trent University and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2016. His early experience included a year-long placement with the firm, followed by a three-month secondment in Boston, USA, where he strengthened his knowledge of multi-national groups and US GAAP reporting. He became a partner in 2021 at the age of 30, reflecting his commitment and leadership within the firm.
