“I love the fact that I have regular contact with clients due to the nature of bookkeeping and you really get to know clients that way. They tell you about their weekends, holidays, family as well as getting the information you need in a timely manner. They also see me as a point of contact if they have an issue. I can either help or ensure that the client gets the help they need from the right person. Genuine client relationships are great at the firm. Another aspect I truly appreciate is the flexibility offered by Page Kirk. I have a son with Asperger's who needs help with his time management (getting anywhere on time). “Since joining Page Kirk, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks – from preparing accounts and VAT returns for sole traders and small companies, to calculating tax returns and participating in audits. I've also supported clients with financial planning and forecasting, and taken on advisory responsibilities such as helping clients prepare for Making Tax Digital and improving the use of accounting software. What I enjoy most is the variety of work and the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, all while developing my skills both through on-the-job experience and my studies.
