Oliver is studying Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Trent University and joined Page Kirk’s placement scheme in September 2025. His year with us marks the start of his professional career in accountancy.
He will gain experience across different areas of the firm, starting in the tax department before moving into audit and accounts. Alongside his placement, Oliver is also studying towards the CFAB qualification (ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business), which provides a strong foundation in accountancy and covers the first six modules of the ACA qualification.
With a love of maths and numbers from an early age, accountancy felt like a natural career choice for Oliver. He enjoys working with clients, as he values building personal as well as professional connections. After completing his placement year, he will return to university to finish his degree before continuing his career in accountancy.
