Page Kirk excited with industry award

Page Kirk are celebrating after being named the best small practice in the East Midlands!

Best Small Practice Award

On Friday 15th March 2019 the ICAEW (Institute Of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales) Finance East Midlands awards dinner took place at Eastwood Hall. It saw a unified accountancy community coming together to celebrate the outstanding work and excellence within the East Midlands finance sector, a great chance for the profession to reflect on the work of accountants, and the impact they have on people and business in the region.

The small accountancy firm award was open to firms with between one and ten partners and was shortlisted through nominations with the ICAEW regional district committee and recruiters Michael Page crowning the ultimate winner. The winner was determined by whom had significantly contributed the most in the last 12 months to the East Midlands economy, its contribution to the wellbeing of the East Midlands residents (for example, through charitable or voluntary activities) and took into account the success of the business.

Rachael Cobb, who heads up our accounts department and Jake Holdroyd from our audit department attended the awards evening with Rachael receiving the award.

“We are very excited to have been named the best small accountancy firm in the East Midlands.” said John Wallis senior partner of Page Kirk.

“This reinforces our creditability and it is an honour for the Page Kirk team to be recognised by the institute.”

“We work very hard for our clients and delighted that they have nominated us for this prestigious award”.

The evening saw five other awards being given out with over 250 chartered accountants and guests in attendance. The awards were proudly sponsored by Michael Page, Bailey Construction and Norton and hosted by Anshu Mehan, President of the Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants (NDLSCA).
