Wishing Martin Mellor a very happy retirement

Today Martin will say goodbye to the team after 39 years.

Martin first started at Page Kirk in 1968 then he qualified in the profession in 1973. He then left Page Kirk to obtain five years’ experience in industry, returning to the firm in 1979.

Martin became a partner of Page Kirk in 1985. Although a general partner, he specialised in the leisure industry and the licensed trade. Martin also headed up the charity and not for profit department within the firm.

Then in 2016 he step down from the partnership to become a consultant. 

 When asked what he enjoyed about working at Page Kirk Martin said

 “I had the best job of them all. I loved that I worked closely with the staff and also with our clients and had involvement with everything right to the end.”

“Martin is very knowledgeable and our younger members of the team often looked to him for guidance. He has contributed in making the firm what it is today, a firm that appreciates their clients, staff and goes the extra mile for them. I would like to thank Martin for all his hard work over the years and also wish him the very best for his retirement.”
