Nottingham Chartered Accountants Page Kirk award prize at the University of Nottingham Business School

Nottingham Chartered Accountants Page Kirk were on hand at the University of Nottingham’s Business school to present the inaugural Page Kirk award for Best Year 2 student on the BSc Finance, Accounting & Management degree course 2015.

The winner, Michael Stocker, came out top of his group with impressive marks amidst keen competition and was presented with a certificate, a book and £200 prize winnings.

John Wallis, Audit Partner at Page Kirk said:

“I am delighted to present this award to such a worthy winner. Michael is obviously a very talented individual and we wish him well for the future.

This is the first time we have been involved in these awards and we are proud of our association with the Business School. We hope to be able to offer our continued support for many years to come and hope the Page Kirk prize becomes an established part of the award ceremony in recognition of the extremely talented students coming through the programme.”

Page Kirk run a comprehensive Graduate and Placement scheme at their offices in Nottingham and this year have taken on a record number of students across their many service lines.

Michael, of Brighton, who received his award from the Dean of School Martin Binks, said:

“It is an honour and a privilege to win this award and I would like to thank Page Kirk for sponsoring it as well as my tutors and everyone involved in the Business School for giving me the tools necessary to improve my skills”
