A Forensic Accountant is a professional specialist who can establish the extent of a financial loss, confirm the reason for the loss, impartially present those findings in a written report and, when required, present the case as an expert witness to the court.
The role requires the Forensic Accountant to utilise their skills when certain facts are not available and investigate records and accounts to help identify the genuine areas of claim.
